500 grams strawberries
8 slices of bread
2 eggs
200 milliliters milk (+ 2 tablespoons)
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Oil or butter for frying
200 grams mascarpone
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest

Cooking Instructions

  • Whip the mascarpone, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth and airy, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Prepare the batter for the French toast by mixing the eggs, milk, and cinnamon powder in a deep dish.
  • Dip the slices of bread into the batter, making sure they soak it up well, then brown them on both sides in a frying pan.
  • Halve or slice the strawberries.
